882 Covid Infected Cops Get Rs 5000 Each As Relief
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police Director General has sanctioned Rs 44.10 lakh as special relief in favour of 882 police personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police who had were t infected by the COVID-19, a police spokesman said.

“Since the outbreak of the 2
nd wave of COVID-19, the J&K police personnel have been working day in and day out in implementing the government directives to check the spread of COVID-19. Despite precautionary measures, many policemen on the ground are contracting the disease and getting infected. To provide them with some financial assistance DGP, J&K sanctioned the relief of Rupees 44.10 lakh in favour of 882 COVID affected police personnel,” the spokesman said.
