34 More Covid-19 Deaths Reported In J&K, Toll Cross 27 Mark

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir reported 34 more deaths due to covid-19 since last evening, taking the fatality count over 2700 mark. Officials told that 16 deaths were reported at GMC Jammu, two in Rajouri while 15 others occurred in various hospitals of Kashmir, taking the overall toll 2706. Among others, they said, the victims include an 80-year-old man from Alijan road Soura who died at SKIMS Soura, four days after he was admitted to the tertiary care hospital. A 60-year-old man Sangeen Darwaza Hawal died at SMHS hospital, four days after he was admitted to the facility, they said. An 83-year-old woman from Rajbagh Srinagar also died at the facility, six days after her admission, they said.

Share Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Bandipora, Mohammad Zahid, on Saturday conducted an extensive tour of Bandipora town to take stock of implementation of Covid lockdown besides reviewing the healthcare services at District Hospital Bandipora. The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure smooth and hassle free delivery of essential services during the ensuing Lockdown from last night till Monday morning in the district. He directed the concerned to ensure availability of ration, medicines besides smooth supply of Electricity and Water across the district including in the covid containment zones.

DC Bandipora reviews activation of covid related services at DH

Apr 27, 2021 Officers informed that making the plant functional will ease the burden on city hospitals as the DH will be able to cater to the patients who need high flow oxygen and were earlier being referred to Srinagar. It was given out that bulk oxygen cylinders are also available to cater other covid dedicated hospitals of the district. Later the Deputy Commissioner also inspected different units of the hospital and took stock of the health care services available at the hospital. He also inspected the dedicated covid19 ward. He was informed that 25 beds have been specially kept for covid19 patients in the hospital that will increase the bed capacity for COVID patients in the district besides having 6 ventilators installed at the hospital.
