Neunaber struck his mother repeatedly in the head with a steel bar. He says his mother was conscious during the first 8 to 10 strikes. He continued to strike her over forty more times, shattering her skull and killing her. Neunaber then tried to commit suicide. And then later i took some pills with the idea we could all be ried together. Obviously that did not work i am still here. Neunaber pleaded guilty to seconddegree murder, and an additional count of willful injury. When hes sentenced, the judge could sentence neunaber to up to 60years in prison. He will likely also have to pay restitution of 150,000. Neunaber said he intended to cause serious injury to his mother, and that his actions were intentional. Two who once worked as a Police Captain in his native chile. Federal agents spreading out through Rockland County raiding dozens of homes and businesses in a massive fraud investigation. Reporter the raid at this particular location has been going on all afternoon. Take a look at the house behind me here. Fbi agents have been bringing boxes out of that house for hours now. They have assistance from the police as well. Chopper 4 was in the air hours ago and captured similar images from multiple locations in the area. The fbi confirmed they have conducted sweeping raids at more than a dozen locations here in Rockland County. They have removed boxes of paperwork and equipment from private homes and businesses as investigation in predominantly Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods. It involves the misappropriation of federal money that is supposed to be used to buy technological equipment. The program is looking into whether locals have been misappropriating money collected through that program. S
