Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha approved the further release of Rs 250 crore as Interest Subvention, part of the economic package for revival of business and industry in J&K, and handed over a cheque of the said amount to Jammu and Kashmir Bank as the third instalment of the 5% Interest Subvention, an official spokesman in Jammu said. It was the third instalment. The government of J&K had already released Rs 500 crore so far, and with the third instalment of Rs 250 crore as 5% Interest Subvention was released as part of the overall package of Rs 1353 crore. SRINAGAR- In wake of spike in Covid-19 cases, the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Srinagar has established an oxygenated 100-bed Covid care facility at Haj House Bemina, an official said.The facility has come up at Hajj House in just a week’s time.
While giving details, the CMO Srinagar apprised the Deputy Commissioner, Aijaz Asad, who is also chairman DDMA, that the patients referred by a physician having mild symptoms of Covid-19 infection and requiring oxygen support of less than 10 litres per minute can be admitted for isolation as well as treatment.
He further added that Health Department is in the process of procuring more Bulk Oxygen Cylinders and Oxygen Concentrators to augment the bed capacity at Hajj House.

MAY 01:- In order to facilitate the general public regarding Covid-19 related queries and to ensure systematic Redressal of such issues , the District Disaster Management Authority(DDMA), Srinagar today on 01.05.2021 has launched 24/7 dedicated Helpline at Covid-19 War Control Room. The facility was inaugurated by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole in presence of Chairman DDMA Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad. The Div Com was given a brief demonstration about the initiative and was told that people can log on to the website www.waseela.in and can get real time information about Covid-19 related issues including the number of isolation beds, Oxygen & beds as well as normal beds available in city hospitals. Statistics about positive cases, tests conducted, vaccination details, information regarding containment zones etc. shall also be available on the web portal.
