LUMBERTON – Assemblywoman Jean Stanfield and Assemblyman Ryan Peters are teaming up with Providence House and Catholic Charities for a second time in order to fix up a safe house for domestic violence survivors.
As part of the Stanfield and Peters’ “District Day of Service,” the 8th District legislators will be landscaping, cleaning and painting the safehouse in conjunction with Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton on Thursday, April 29.
“A little over a year ago, our office started our monthly, ‘District Day of Service,’ by painting, cleaning and stocking the inside of one of Providence House’s homes for domestic abuse survivors.
