The 2023 District Council Ordinary Election will be held on 12 December to elect 10 District Committee constituency members and 176 District Council Geographical Constituency Members. A total of 10 nomination forms were received by Returning Officers of 30 District Committee constituencies and 18 District Council geographical constituencies during the nomination period ( excluding one person who withdrew from election). The District Committee has completed the examination of 44 nominations. The District Assets Management Council considers that all candidates meet the statutory requirements and conditions of "upholding the Basic Law" and "swearing allegiance to the HKSAR"
