WASHINGTON (WCSC/AP) - First District Congresswoman Nancy Mace said all she can hear from her vantage point at the Cannon House Office Building is sirens after protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol building Wednesday.
âThis is a sad day for our nationâs history. Weâre better than this, and rhetoric has real consequences and weâre seeing that today,â she said. âAnd Iâm devastated and heartbroken but Iâm also angry because this isnât the way that we advocate or investigate issues with our electoral process, Electoral College, a presidential election or voter fraud.â
