PUTRAJAYA, May 28 The vaccination programme for the retail sector, involving about 500,000 workers, will begin next month, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
In a statement issued here today, he said the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA), which has been tasked to plan and coordinate the retail sector vaccination programme with all the related industry players, would implement it with the cooperation of the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF).

PUTRAJAYA: Customers will be allowed to spend a maximum of hours at all retail premises, including shopping complexes, beginning May 25, says Domestic Trade and Customer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi (pic).
He said this was among the standard operating procedures (SOP) updated for the trade sector, including retail, wholesale and distribution following the announcement by Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to tighten the implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0.
Another updated SOP is the operation hours of the distributive trade sector which included all retail, wholesale, distribution premises as well as restaurants, from 8am to 8pm.
