Distribution of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program cards to public school students will begin Aug. 9 at Micronesia Mall, according to an announcement from the Department of Public health and Social Services. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, which provides funding for food stamps, in early July approved Guam’s plan to give as much as $36.7 million in food money to Guam students who missed free school meals during the pandemic lockdown.
