Tuolumne County District Attorney Cassandra Jenecke has completed an investigation into the May of 2020 officer involved shooting death of 56-year-old Richard Councilman of Jamestown.
One Vehicle Overturned In 5 Freeway Crash In Castaic
One vehicle was on its roof following a traffic collision on the northbound I-5 Freeway in Castaic Sunday afternoon.
At 3 p.m., reports were received of a traffic collision with a vehicle overturned on an embankment on the northbound 5 Freeway just north of Hasley Canyon Road in Castaic, according to Dispatcher Olson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“There were no people trapped,” Olson said. “And we transported one to a local hospital.”
No other injuries were reported in relation to the collision as of Sunday afternoon.
