The stinger at the end of the second season finale of  The Mandalorian revealed that  The Book of Boba Fett would be coming December 2021. That got a lot of people excited but also sewed some confusion – was it a spinoff or was it replacing  The Mandalorian? Jon Favreau hit up the social media circuit and more this morning, giving fans a chance to watch it over the weekend without saying anything, and a few details have come in regarding it. The  Book of Boba Fett is a separate series and will be operating under the “group of four” that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are shepherding that will culminate in an event series at some point, which most are pointing toward as being in the same vein as what Marvel did with their film series.
