If you want to use hotel points to stay on Disney World property, you likely already know about Disney’s Swan and Dolphin hotels. However, in the age of the pandemic, expect your favorite cast members to be dressed up in personal protective equipment. Touchless menus and temperature checks will also be the norm at these events.  Disney is bringing back its food and wine events with COVID-19 restrictions in place.

It would be overplayed to say it was an “unprecedented year for Disney”, but, it most certainly was. Disney theme parks had faced a limited number of very temporary closures before 2020 for hurricanes, in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 and the like, but they hadn’t experienced anything even remotely on this scale and magnitude.
