Discovery Point Child Development Centers, a leading educational child care franchise, opened a school in Bradenton on Dec. 18. Discovery Point Child Development School Twelve Oaks, at 7218 55th Ave. E., provides safe, educational and nurturing environments for growing children.
Discovery Point currently has 47 locations across the Southeastern U.S., with schools in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Since opening its first location in an Atlanta suburb in 1988, Discovery Point has been a leader in childhood education and care.
Discovery Point Twelve Oaks School is owned and operated by Roger and Robin Clough.
Roger Clough was a superintendent of schools for 11 years in New York state. He has also taught kindergarten, first grade and sixth grade, and worked as an elementary school and a junior high principal.
