Science North in-person summer camps are coming back to northwestern Ontario after a one-year COVID break.
Registration is now being accepted for camps in Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay.
Staff Scientist Sean Murray says they are bringing back a couple of their programs.
“We have an Earth Camp which is all about going underground, learning about rocks and minerals,” says Murray.
“We also have a Discovery Camp, which is a camp that kind of covers all aspects of science.”
Murray adds they also be doing their Discovery camp.
“We have a Space Day where we’ll talk a little bit about the Mars Rover mission that happened this year. We have some Nature Camp in there as well as some general chemistry and all that kind of stuff. So that one will be really fun.”

Science North is back with its in-person camps in Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Kenora and Thunder Bay.
The camps provide interactive learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. (STEM)
