It has been more than six months since Ben Mugasha, a businessman and chairman of Bemuga Group lost his mother, Kezia Mugasha to old age. Her departure left a void in Mugasha’s life. When his mother passed on, Mugasha says he accepted death as a part of life.
To different people losing a parent is felt differently, but for Mugasha, it meant losing his best friend, advisor, and confidant. Canon Kezia Batooreza Mugasha was born in 1927, got married in1944, and died in 2020. She is survived by nine children. When Canon Mugasha died last year, her family organised a memorable sendoff at their country home in Kyeibaare, Mitooma District.
