Over $2.5 billion in federal grants, loans and flood insurance payments have been paid in Louisiana to help residents recover from Hurricane Ida, FEMA said. Of the $2.5 billion, $1.1 billion low-interest Small Business Administration loans have been distributed and $580 million in housing assistance for homeowners and renters, FEMA said.
