(Photo courtesy of NDRRMC) MANILA - The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has approved the rehabilitation and recovery plan for Typhoon Odette in its full council meeting on Wednesday. "The rehabilitation and recovery plan for the affected regions of Typhoon Odette was discussed, presenting top priority programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) for funding under the National DRRM Fund and agency regular budgets up to the year 2025," the agency said in a statement. These PPAs are intended for Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga. Also approved were the results-based monitoring and evaluation system (RBMES) for the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (NDRRMP) 2020-2030; and the proposed guidelines for the selection of representatives from civil society organizations and private sectors to the national, regional, and local DRRMCs.
