(KNSI) – A $400,000 grant will help workers get over their drug addiction.
Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. (CMJTS) announces the launch of “Opioids: The Minnesota Initiative.”
The new initiative, referred to as OMNI, provides hope and opportunities to people directly or indirectly impacted by the growing opioid crisis.
The money can be used to support healthcare, chemical dependency counseling, and substance use disorder treatment.
Through financial support and individualized case management, eligible individuals will have access to education, training, employment placement, and supportive services.
CMJTS will identify and serve individuals through partnerships with government agencies, local businesses, Minnesota’s Adult Drug Treatment Courts, community recovery centers, recovery residences, correctional facilities, and non-profits and community-based organizations providing services to the impacted population.
