SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – The Sioux Falls City Council approved a resolution tonight outlining their spending priorities for up to $25.4 million from the Federal Government’s American Rescue Plan. As well as an additional $18.4 million from General Fund and Sales and Use Tax Fund.
The list of priorities was developed during a working meeting in May.
Among the list of projects the council unanimously supported include:
The Helpline Center – Facility Needs,
24/7 Urgent Care,
The Butterfly House and Aquarium,
YMCA Community Youth Project, and
Seniors/Disabled Municipal property tax refund
