Louisa County Board of Supervisors briefed on budget needs

WAPELLO With Fiscal Year 2022 budget development discussions set to begin in a few weeks, the Louisa County Board of Supervisors received some early heads-up on several department budget needs during its regular weekly meeting last Tuesday.
Topping that list was some preliminary information from Louisa County Mental Health and Disability Services Director Bobbie Wulf, who met with the board through a Zoom connection.
Wulf said the governing board for the Southeast Iowa LINK regional mental health consortium recently met and was planning to hold a meeting with local area legislators later in the month to discuss four major mental health issues.
