Columnist JD Mullane has asked how one-party rule has worked in California and New Jersey (Jan. 9). We didn’t have gun-toting revolutionaries come to the U.S. Capitol building responding to The White House tenant’s latest tantrum.
Both states ran high on statistical metrics. Pennsylvania used to enjoy that celebrity, too. Eight of the nine Republican party senators who said there was election fraud are a laughingstock for those oriented towards joy and a sober disgrace for those oriented towards reason.
The tantrums of The White House tenant should not have prompted the Pennsylvania senators to acquiescence. Pennsylvania can give voters better Republicans next election.
