<p><span>The Bank’s Court acts as a unitary board, and as Non-Executives of the Court, Sir Ron and Frances O’Grady will help determine the Bank’s objectives and strategy, and advise on how to ensure the effective discharge of the Bank’s functions and the most efficient use of the Bank’s resources.</span></p>
<p><span>The Bank s Court of Directors acts as a unitary board, setting the organisation s strategy and budget and taking key decisions on resourcing and appointments. Required to meet a minimum seven times per year, it has five executive members from the Bank and up to nine non-executive members.</span></p>
<p><span>Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second approved the appointment of three new Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) of the Court of the Bank of England. These appointments will be made by the King. </span></p>
Anne Glover and Diana Noble have been reappointed by Her Majesty the Queen as Non-Executive Directors of the Court of the Bank of England. They have been reappointed for second terms of four years, to 31 May 2026.
