‘LAC published online tutorials for students’
Classes to follow all Covid SOPs

The Lahore Arts Council (LAC) released online tutorials on musical instruments and art to hone the skills of students, LAC Executive Director Saman Rai said on Monday during an inspection of the ongoing classes of Alhamra Cultural Complex Qaddafi Stadium.
According to LAC press release, during her visit she observed the work of the young artists and encouraged them to excel in their field.
On the occasion, Saman Rai said that classes by Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts were being organized while following all Covid-19 SOPs at Alhamra Mall Road and Alhamra Cultural Complex Gaddafi Stadium. She further said that during the pandemic LAC arranged outdoor classes which got encouraging response.
Italian envoy visits Alhamra

LAHORE: The Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferraris visited Lahore Arts Council on Tuesday at Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall.
He was received by Lahore Arts Council Board of Governors Chairperson Moneeza Hashmi and Alhamra Executive Director Saman Rai. Cultural activities were discussed during the meeting and commitment to work together under mutual understanding was welcomed by both sides.
During the visit, he took keen interest in Alhamra Art Gallery, Academy of Performing Arts, studio, research centre and other departments. Praising the beauty of Alhamra, Italian Ambassador said that the cultural beauty of Pakistan is commendable.
