The inaugural Disappear Here Film Festival (Online Edition) went live this week, and runs in its virtual space for the next 3 weeks. A whopping 55 films are available to view from the comfort of your armchair, and include feature films like ‘Sorry We Missed you’ from esteemed UK Director Ken Loach. The line-up also includes many short films, documentaries and more arthouse/experimental work some shot during lockdown and in isolation. The popular physical element of the event had to be pulled at the last moment as Donegal went into higher restrictions at the end of the September. Festival Director Michael McLaughlin  “Our team at the festival believe strongly in the value of culture and creativity, and we see our event as an important culture component locally, and as a continuing platform for filmmakers.
