After a year of canceling summer programming that attracted people downtown, like Food Truck Tuesdays and Cruise In nights, because of the coronavirus pandemic, things are starting to look up, the city’s Downtown Development Authority officials said. Related: DDA Board members approved a schedule for summer and fall events at their Thursday, March 11 meeting. Executive Director Cory Mays said it’s a pleasant change from last year, when they had to cancel things at many monthly meetings because of the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.
