Long lost ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ song has been found and will be restored

Fans of the beloved holiday movie, “The Muppet Christmas Carol,” will be delighted to hear that a long-lost song, that had been cut from the original movie, has been found and reinstated, according to Director Brian Henson, son of Muppets creator, Jim.
A report by BBC Radio 2, cited Henson who told them, “he was ‘excited’ and ‘happy’ that ‘When Love Is Gone’ could again be heard in forthcoming versions of his film.”
It was removed from the 1992 reworking of the classic Dickens story, in the version that shows in cinemas and on TV, as Disney felt the ballad, which is sung to a young Scrooge by his fiancee Belle, “wouldn’t appeal to young viewers,” the report said.
