Our Correspondent Diphu, Sep. 6 (EMN): Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM) under Sakhi Express on Tuesday distributed 200 gearless scooters to Sakhi workers of 7 development blocks in a programme held here at Diphu Club on Tuesday. Distributing the gearless scooters to Sakhi workers, the chief executive member (CEM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang, said the central and state governments have been supporting the SHGs by introducing various schemes so that they can stand on their own feet. The government has thought of helping the SHGs with their conveyance problems by providing gearless scooters to them, the CEM said.
