Last Sunday, all roads led to the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Ogberuru, the home Church of the Primate of All Nigeria, the Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba, where together with his wife, children and friends, he thanked God for elevating him to the office of the Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of Nigeria.
The emergence of Archbishop Ndukuba as Primate is historic, as he became the first core Igbo to be made a Primate since 1842, when the Church came to Nigeria.
The Thanksgiving service, attended by about 72 Bishops, was conducted by the Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, the Most Rev. David Onuoha, while the Dean of Church of Nigeria, the Most Rev. Buba Lamido, delivered the sermon.
