In a Facebook post, the diocese shared a photo of a woman dressed as a nun roaming around the city to ask for donations. "WARNING | These photos are sent to us about an individual wearing a Catholic nun habit and is roaming around in the City of Mati asking for a donation for the supposed mission using the name of the Catholic Church," it said. The warning also included a photo of an envelope being distributed by the woman with the name of Mararca International Catholic Church and Maharlikan Apostolate Missionary (Congregation).
