Fr. Roberto Oliveros Jr., diocese chancellor, said the 62-year-old bishop was rushed to a hospital due to difficulty in breathing. "At present, our bishop is in stable condition but was advised to undergo coronary artery heart bypass this coming weekend. We ask all our beloved priests, religious, and faithful to offer your masses, Holy Hours, and recitation of the Holy Rosary for the successful operation and fast recovery of our bishop," Oliveros said.
