VICTORIA, B.C. – Small Business BC launched the BC Marketplace this past April to boost small-business growth and to encourage shopping and buying local.
Since April, 1,500 B.C. based businesses have been added. The marketplace helps to give immediate support to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic as shopping trends have shifted to online instead of in-store.
The BC Marketplace has now become a long-term solution for businesses across the province. Businesses can create or enhance their online presence and reach more customers at no cost on the marketplace.
