The Delhi Police told the Delhi High Court on Friday that there's no presumption of innocence for the Ansal brothers in the Uphaar cinema evidence tampering case and that their 7-year-old jail term shouldn't be suspended.
Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to the police on Ansal brothers plea challenging a trial court order which dismissed their petition seeking suspension of sentence in tampering with evidence in the 1997 Uphaar fire tragedy case during the pendency of their appeal.
