The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is among the thinnest and most lightweight gaming phones available. It is the company s latest and the first gaming smartphone that has created hype with its gaming processor and price segment. It did not take long for the Redmi K40 Game Edition to become a hit among users.

MediaTek during its eighth MediaTek Technology Diaries virtual session finally launched its flagship Dimensity 1200 SoC in India. This along with the Diemnsity 1100 serve as the successors to the Dimensity 1000 Plus SoC, and were both launched in global markets in early 2021. The new Dimensity 1200 SoC will power upcoming flagships from various brands. MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is the company’s flagship octa-core processor built on the 6nm manufacturing process. It features an “Ultra” ARM Cortex A78 core clocked at 3GHz, three Super ARM Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and four ARM Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. MediaTek just announced Dimensity 1200 and Dimensity 1100, the company’s latest top-end SoCs with built-in 5G. These are the company’s first mobile chips to use TSMC’s 6nm process technology. The Dimensity 1200 has an octa-core CPU designed with an ultra-core Arm Cortex-A78 clocked up to 3GHz for extreme performance, three Arm Cortex-A78 super cores clocked up to 2.6GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2GHz.
This promises up to 22% faster CPU performance and 25% more power-effeciency compared to the previous generation. It has nine-core Mali-G77 GPU offering 13% increase in performance compared to the previous generation and six-core MediaTek APU 3.0.
