Thoughts on receiver: Even with Tylan Wallace and Dillon Stoner leaving, Kasey Dunn has an embarrassment of riches of highly regarded prospects. I’ve been captaining the Langston Anderson ship for a while now, but I’ve heard he has been banged up a little bit this year.
It will also be interesting to see how the Green twins play into this and whether they can make an impact after enrolling early.
The slot behind Brennan Presley is also interesting. Zach Middleton is listed as a receiver on the roster, but he was posing for pictures with the running backs after the Cheez-It Bowl. Maybe John Paul Richardson gets a look early?

While pretty much knew that wide receiver Tylan Wallace would not return for Oklahoma State next season, he made it official yesterday with an announcement on his Twitter account.
“I can’t wait and am excited to represent Oklahoma State in the NFL next season. #LOYALANDTRUE,” Wallace wrote.
Wallace was one of the most dynamic wide receivers in Oklahoma State history. His sophomore season he was named a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award after putting up 86 receptions for 1,491 yards. Over his career, he put up 205 receptions for 3,429 yards. And that was after going out with an ACL tear his junior season.
The Cowboys’ 2020 season ended how it began: Frantically.
Oklahoma State beat Miami 37-34 in the Cheez-It Bowl on Tuesday in Orlando. Here are 10 thoughts from the contest.
1. What the Heck?
In a year of nuts games, that game was probably the most nuts.
A 21-0 lead evaporates. OSU gets big plays when it was unexpected and stalled when it wasn’t expected.
We’ll get to the hot start, but Miami answering OSU’s 21-0 run with a 19-0 run of its own was crazy. Basketball is supposed to be the game of runs.
Then after everyone had their runs, it was like two heavyweight boxers unloading all their punches before the judges took control of the fight.

Wallace also finishes his career with two top-10 finishes in single-game receiving yards with legendary showings in 2018. His 220 yards receiving against Oklahoma that year ranks 10th-most in a single game all-time among OSU receivers, and his 222 yards receiving two games prior, against Texas, ranks ninth-most in a single game all-time amongst OSU receivers.
As for season-long numbers, Wallace’s 86-catch season in 2018 puts him with the seventh-most among OSU receivers in a single season. And his 1,491 yards receiving that season rank fifth most in a single season, behind only Justin Blackmon (x2), James Washington and Rashaun Woods.
