Berlin - Germany s capital on Thursday said family doctors can decide who to vaccinate with AstraZeneca s vaccine, the same day health minister Jens Spahn (CDU) said corona vaccinations would be opened to anyone willing to be vaccinated by June at the latest.
Berlin is now the fourth state to allow anyone to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca after Bavaria, Mecklenburg-Western Pommerania and Saxony Wednesday lifted restrictions on the use of the vaccine.

In Berlin, people who have been vaccinated are to be offered slightly more freedom. Following Tuesday’s Senate meeting, the German Press Agency learned that vaccinated are to be treated like those holding a negative test result.
The vaccinated may, therefore, go non-grocery shopping, visit a hairdresser’s or beautician’s, a museum, or an exhibition, without a negative corona test. The new situation comes into effect 15 days after a second vaccination, with the directive being applied from Sunday.
