COLOMBO (News 1st): The Director-General of Health Services confirmed that four (04) COVID-19 deaths were reported in the country on Friday (Feb. 05), raising Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll to 343.
The details of the deceased are as follows:
01. A 75-year-old male from Colombo 03, who passed away on 2nd February 2021, at his residence. The cause of death is mentioned as COVID pneumonia and high blood pressure.
02. A 89-year-old male from Nawala. He was transferred from the Nevil Fernando Hospital in Colombo to the IDH, where he died on 4th February 2021. The cause of death is mentioned as COVID pneumonia, damaged kidneys due to acute kidney disease, blood poisoning and shock due to blood poisoning, chronic heart disease and acute diabetes.
