The DeKalb County School Board at its Sept. 11 meeting voted to postpone approving the second year of a lease with Evolv Weapons Detection for metal detectors in schools across the county.
The pressure is on for members of the DeKalb County Board of Education, who are now preparing to vote on the next superintendent of schools Wednesday morning.
The back and forth continues over who should be DeKalb County’s superintendent, with the school board legally able to vote over the position as soon as this Wednesday.
