The American University in Cairo (AUC) and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) have joined forces on Egypt s Digital Heritage Portal project. This collaboration aims to strengthen Egypt s position in electronic design and embedded systems software, focusing on electric cars and self-driving vehicles. AUC Libraries, in partnership with MCIT, will be making Egypt s rich heritage available in a digital format through this project. AUC s Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering and the Center of Nanoelectronics and Devices will provide expert electronics training to engineering students and fresh graduates across Egypt.
