The  Isekai Yakkyoku series, which translates as Alternate World Pharmacy, is moving into production. The announcement didn’t reveal much in the way of details but it did deliver a key visual to the right. The light novel series from Liz Takayama began in 2015 and has out eight volumes as of July 2021. A manga adaptation is currently being serialized by Sei Takano. Plot Concept: The story centers around a young pharmacologist who was so focused on his research that he died from overwork. He was transported to an alternate world and reincarnated as Pharma, the scion in a noble lineage of court healers. In this world where erroneous remedies and cures are rampant, he takes on all kinds of ailments to save lives, thanks to his inside knowledge of modern pharmacology from his past life.
