The Avalanches Share Mario Caldato Jr ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’ Remix
The Avalanches have released remix of ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’ by Cario Caldata Jr ahead of the expanded 20th anniversary release of ‘Since I Left You’ in June.

Brazilian/American producer Caldato is known for his work with Beastie Boys and Jack Johnson.
Caldato co-produced singles for Tone Loc and Young MC and was the engineer of the second Beastie Boys album ‘Paul’s Boutique’. That set him on a series of projects with Beastie Boys including ‘Check Your Head’, ‘Ill Communication’ and ‘Hello Nasty’.
The 20th anniversary ‘Since I Left You’ also had reimagined Avalanches by as MF Doom, Black Dice, Leon Vynehall, Sinkane and Carl Craig.
The Avalanches celebrated and reframed their legacy on Friday - but one big omission left fans confused.

The Avalanches ‘Since I Left You’ Turns 20
The Avalanches first album ‘Since I Left You’ was released on 27 November 2000. To mark the 20th anniversary there is a brand new grown up version on the way.
The new edition of the album has fresh mixes from MF Doom, Black Dice, Leon Vynehall, Sinkane and Carl Craig.

The original ‘Since I Left You’ album had four singles ‘Electricity’, ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’, ‘Since I Left You’ and ‘Radio’.
The album peaked at number 15 in Australia but was in the charts for so long that it eventually sold Platinum. It also reached no 8 on the UK chart at no 10 on the US Dance Chart.
