The latest in a series of strong winter storms brought more heavy rainfall and resulting traffic headaches to the already waterlogged San Diego area, and more rain is in the forecast Wednesday.
Due to the predicted severity of the storm, Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in eight counties, including the San Diego region, over the weekend.
The latest storm brought rain, potential for destructive flooding and mountain snow to the already saturated San Diego area, and it is expected to bring more rain, winds and flood warnings Tuesday.
