Police say someone was shot at a motel 6 in walnut creek today. It happened around 11 00 a. M. And shutdown several streets. There was a large Law Enforcement presence for most of the day at the motel on north main street between parkside drive and st. Louis road. No word on the condition of the victim. The incident is under investigation. Families of homicide victims are pleading to the public for help. They are hoping for new leads in those cases as well as a chance to save lives. Elissa harrington has more from these families about their message and also talking to Oakland Police. We are tired of burying our sons and daughters, which is our future but we want to live and not die. At an emotional news conference, families of homicide victims gathered to grieve together. Mothers held pictures of their kids killed by gun violence. This is my heart ripped out, every day. Reporter they appealed to the community for information and called out for police for not solving these crimes. David
