scare this we have more money than anybody else by far. we ll build it up. until they come to their censuses. when they do, then we ll be smart and we ll stop and, by the way, not only stop we ll reduce. right now they have not adhered to the agreement. hope everybody is in the mood for an expensive arms race. on president the announced the u.s. intends to pull out of the intermediate range forces treaty. 1987 arms control agreement with the soviet the signed by ronald reagan. trump s comments came adds national security advisor john bolton prepares to meet with putin tomorrow. you ll want to hear this. speaking to a russian radio station today bolton down played the impact of the interference. he said, quote the point i made to russian colleagues today was that i didn t think whatever
you know anything about bolton and his history. he s a veteran hawk. you re book about this period and topic reads like a novel. you know what the next chapter will be because we all lived it. yet you can t wait to get there because of the pace and what you learned. so what do you think is up here? the latest example of the corp. torsion you have to go through. bolton has to, you know, make gestures forward russia to be to work with trump. he sets up the summit for trump. his predecessor tried to put it off and avoid and try to prevent it from happening. and, you know, bolton has to have the argument that russia s interference didn t hurt hillary
and now bolton has to mount this argument that russia s interference really didn t hurt hillary clinton or help donald trump s chances, which is the core belief that you have to have to work this closely to this white house, to this president. and everything we ve learned suggests that that s just not true. for one, u.s. intelligence agencies specifically did not look at that question because it s not part of their mission. it s not part of their job. but the data that facebook has looked through and that twitter has looked through has shown that more than 125 million americans were exposed to russian propaganda den graithd hillary clinton and propping up donald trump in 2016 and this is in a race that came down to fewer than 80,000 votes. the math just becomes overwhelming. and thank you for putting it that way. thank both gentlemen for um coming on with us. greg miller, jeremy bash. really appreciate it. again, greg s book is called the apprentice. it is available now. another br

[cheers and applause]
president clearly wanted to send a message that he has serious doubts about his own administration, about his own intelligence community, didn t he? yes! in short, wolf. look. if you read the transcript of that press conference, donald trump says, look, director of national intelligence dan coats told me one thing. russia did it. vladimir putin said strongly he didn t. i don t know why they would. that s his that s sort of those three things follow on one another. hard to read that and conclude other than donald trump believes vladimir putin. rather than dan coats. now, why is the bigger question. most obvious why to it because donald trump can t get he can t see the forest through the trees. he is incapable of understanding that is that he saying that russia interfered in the election and didn t hurt hillary clinton, he s still the
