jumping on the bandwagon because there s been an effective message. so i m not surprised to hear it, but we re just joining i guess we re just joining the general the general population of democrats and designed election results these days. and brian, you make me giggle simon, republicans. brian is is a perfect example of what i have heard from republicans. we ve heard many times with republicans i m going to call it trying to muddy the waters on this topic by pointing out instances in the past that individual democratic members have questions, some election results does that land as a political argument? i mean, lying might be a different way to describe what you just heard and no listen, i think it s absurd and we know what happened and in 2020, donald trump didn t just, republicans didn t just reject the election results in 2020, they ve been rejecting it through the entire election today. i mean, we re still having this debate, but listen, i i think my view is that i think the
deal that didn t just, you know, push the can down the road for two, three months or whatever. you know, it is until 2025, which is, again, not as great as i would have liked to have seen it, but it is better than i expected, frankly. they came out with a deal that does certainly less damage than was possible from my point of view, than was conceconceivable. so you have to say, this is a good this is a good day. this was, in the end, a good week, i think, for american democracy. one more item this block. former president donald trump is reacting to the report that special counsel jack smith s office has obtained a recording of trump discussing a classified document that he took with him after leaving the white house. nbc news confirmed the report, citing a source directly
working on creating products that span the entire, um, gambit of those who purchased vehicles and you know, the president didn t just, you know, wake up and think about this today. this has been part of his vision. from day one. if you take a look at the bipartisan infrastructure law, billions of dollars invested and charging stations all across this country to reduce that range anxiety billions of dollars in the chips and science act to bring battery manufacturing and manufacturing back to the united states and then with the inflation reduction act. a $7500 credit tax credit for those who want to purchase these vehicles. so in addition to that $7000 7500 dollars tax credit, uh folks who purchase electric vehicles will see a cost savings over the lifespan of the vehicle because they re not having to buy gas because they re not having to ah , pay for maintenance. and so this is a huge opportunity for
other than what has already been transferred over to the special counsel, according to his appointment by attorney general garland. this is well within the scope of the investigation, as the attorney general said, into whether anyone attempted to interfere with the transfer of presidential power where the certification of the vote. and so that doesn t the interference on january sixth didn t just happen on january 6th, right? it was the culmination of months, beginning, certainly immediately after election day, but really, in many ways, before election day, the seeding of the false narrative about fraud was already being injected into public discourse. but certainly, all the efforts to pressure state legislatures in the swing states, to seek to have fraudulent electors submit electoral ballots and send those to pence in the hope that he would count them, to pressure the secretary of state
time. pete: that is harrison wells. he is a junior at uw-madison, one of the chairman of young americans for freedom who hosted the event and you heard it right what he said. one of the protesters outside the event grabbed a bible from a student supporting the event, didn t just, desecrate it, but proceeded to eat pages of that bible as a presumably, some form of a protest. so, matt walsh, later took to twitter, laid out the stakes of what a demonstration like that says. he tweeted this. he said, you can be on the side that eats the bible and castrates children, which is a lot of what his film, what is a woman is about, or you can be on literally any other side but that one, your choice america. sometimes they expose themselves for their own extremism, yet again here they do it at wisconsin. rachel: there is reason why they call it the republic of madison.
