Man arrested in IM after two-county chase | News, Sports, Jobs

Feb 4, 2021 IRON MOUNTAIN A 28-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning after a high-speed chase that began in Florence, Wis., and ended with the driver barricaded in an Iron Mountain residence. The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was notified about 10:38 p.m. Tuesday that the Florence County sheriff’s deputies was pursuing a 2002 Jeep Liberty headed for the Michigan-Wisconsin border, according to a news release from the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office. Iron Mountain deputies deployed stop sticks at the state line on U.S. 2 near the M-95 junction. The Jeep ran over the stop sticks and hit a patrol vehicle, damaging it enough it had to be towed, the release stated.
