Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)– Dickinson County Emergency Services is one step closer to getting an upgrade to its current radio system following action taken by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Ehret presented a bid for a system that he has heard nothing but good things about with a price tag for the board being around 177 thousand dollars.
Ehret also gave an update on the pending remodel of the county’s communication center that has been in service without any major work since it opened more than a decade ago.
