VENICE – The Central Venice Coalition will host its first meeting of 2021 at 6 p.m. May 11 in the community room of the new Venice Public Safety Complex, 1575 E. Venice Ave.
It will be the first public meeting in the new $17.6 million facility, which opened Sept. 8, 2020.
“We re looking forward to a great turnout and are honored to be able to begin what promises to be a new tradition in the city,” Dick Longo, a founding member of the coalition, said via email.
Public meeting space was one of the main attributes highlighted by the city in 2016, when it asked Venice voters to approve a $16 million bond issue to fund the new facility.
