earlier this morning and then with tremendous thanks to our producer diane morales in the overflow room ran out to let me know meadows is indeed on the stand testifying. he s being asked about his duties as white house chief of staff and describing what his day-to-day looked like during the months he served really at the right hand of then president trump. he talked about the fact that it was a 24/7 job. he said he would get up early in the morning, describe the briefings he would receive on a daily basis and described himself as even the former president s personal assistant. so all of this of course kind of gives you a peek inside that courtroom. remember, the entire underpinning of this hearing today is meadows asking to move this to federal court because he says at the time of his alleged actions he was acting in his federal capacity as the white house chief of staff. a couple of other interesting points, we know that meadows and several others have asked to move their case to fede
