Richard W. Benck, founder of West Side Tractor Sales, passed away May 9, 2021, at the age of 91.
Richard W. Benck, age 91 of Naperville, Ill., passed away peacefully on May 9, 2021, at his home. He was born at his home on the family farm on Nov. 17, 1929, in Grant Park, Ill., to Carl and Louise Benck.
Mr. Benck s family did not have very much as he was growing up, but somehow, he overcame many obstacles that were put in his path. Joining the Air Force during the Korean War changed the trajectory of his life. He learned skills and received an education.
