The Storm fell to CT Diamond Club, 9-8, in the championship game played Sunday at Murphy Park. Margarette Howland and Delaney Fifield each had two hits in the title game for the Storm, and Maggie Fay drove in a pair of runs. The Valley Storm got into Sunday’s final thanks to a 19-4 win over the Vermont Storm in the quarterfinal round and a 7-5 win over the NEK Tri-Force in the semis.
